Power Monitoring System
Epyllion Group operates an accessories factory which supports the operations of the rest of the group factories. The primary function of this factory is to produce all the necessary support material and accessories for their fleet of factories. Naturally, due to their wide domain of operations, it became difficult for Epyllion to monitor and control the massive energy requirement for their production. We were approached and were asked to come up with a system whereby they can monitor the energy consumption from different line of activities. Our innovation and development teams were engaged, and a solution was offered where energy consumption from each machinery was monitored and recorded. A detailed analysis of the data was then performed in real time and a continuous comparative analysis of the energy consumption is being presented to the decision makers. The system is also capable of detailed complex analysis and is able to forecast future energy needs.
BRAC Net purchased radio devices from AIRSPAN Radio through an overseas supplier. A mix-up in the shipment resulted in some supplied devices being AC and the others being DC. Due to time and financial constrains of the project, BRAC Net could not send the devices back. We were called in to mitigate the issue and a simple solution was offered where a number of Rectifiers were installed for the DC devices and Inverters were installed for the AC Devices. All devices were manufactured in house. The solution enabled BRAC Net to stay within budget and meet project deadline.
Microwave Link Repeater
RAB ordered a number of microwave link repeater through a supplier. The products were supplied without any power supply unit. Local suppliers and manufacturers were contacted to provide the solution but unfortunately no one was successful. When we were engaged, the project was already delayed, and the much-needed devices were just sitting on shelf. Thanks to our in-house R&D and development team, the Power Supply Units were supplied within a very short timeframe.
